Coaching

Welcome to Coaching!

What is Coaching?

Coaching works on the premise that each of us is naturally creative, resourceful, whole and wise; that we are completely capable of living in vibrant, dynamic balance, in all aspects of our work, living and leadership. And when we are stuck or bored, we just need a different way to access what is already inside us.

When do you dream big? Coaching is about making dreams possible, really real! We co-design an alliance with you that supports, challenges, advocates and holds you to shaping your vision, goals, style and practices, which will bring your big goals and dreams into reality.

Together, we look at your whole life – your work, family, community and desires – and prioritize which aspects you want to address first, always keeping the whole in mind. We are your advocates through the hard places as well as in the celebrations.

Why bother looking for a Coach?

  1. Why not?! EVERYONE needs someone in their corner who has complete allegiance to them fully living this precious life
  2.  Someone who will tell you the difficult truths, be with them through the changes, and celebrate with them at every turn
  3. Whether it is conquering clutter, starting a new initiative, daring to stop, saying NO! or saying YES!, coaching will save you energy, money and time in leading you to your definition of success and attaining it
  4. Coaching will engage you completely in your work and life

Life Coaching

Does this sound familiar?

I don’t know what I want. Some days, I think I want a new career, other days, I think more free time would make me happy. Every day is filled with chores and tasks and I just don’t have time for me. I wake up tired. I know what I have to do, but rarely do I look forward to it. My passions are faint memories. Someday I’ll get back to doing the things I love. For now, I just get through each day the best that I can.

What are the thoughts that keep you awake at 3 a.m.?

  • What is my life about anyway?
  • What makes me get up in the morning besides a paycheque?
  • What am I doing, how am I being, when I am really having fun?
  • I’ve been saying I’ll get to this for months, years ? what will finally get me to do it?
  • What have I always wanted to learn?
  • What is my secret wish for each of those I love?
  • Who do I want to have more time with?
  • What career have I dreamed would be a great alternative to this?
  • What is my life’s work, here, on this planet?
  • What could I do to bring me into vibrant health?

Personal coaching is about your whole life. It is daring to create your life vision then to live it. What areas of your life need re-alignment?

Team Coaching

Fulfilling the purpose of the team each member is a part of the team for a reason. The cost of one member not contributing fully is high. Many articles report higher return on investment and increased efficiency for coached teams than for uncoached teams.

Teams work best when:

  • They are aligned in purpose, focus, responsibility and commitment
  • The leader and team are clear about the teams’ meeting model, and each team member communicates consistently from that style
  • Each person’s stake in the purpose and outcome of the teams’ project is clear

How do we make the most of your team?

We will customize our coaching approach to meet the needs of your team. In combination with a series of foundation workshops over a minimum 3 month period, we may coach the leader in coaching the team’s members in performance and accountability coach each member in aligning with the team’s purpose and their commitments coach the whole team in staying in alignment and exceeding their outcomes

Our job is to assist the team in creating a shared vision and actions to achieve it. We love working with teams wanting to develop collaboratively either teams that meet in person, same location, or teams that work together virtually different locations. Give us half a chance and we’ll turn your team into a collaborative one!

Performance Coaching

Perhaps one of our favourite descriptions of performance coaching comes from the author Tim Gallwey. He wrote the book The Inner Game about how an athlete’s mental focus can boost performance in sports. He later applied those principles to the workplace, business, leadership, and team coaching.

He describes coaching this way: “Coaching is unlocking a person’s potential to maximise their own performance. It’s helping them to learn rather than teaching them.”

And that’s the big revelation that we want to share with you about performance coaching, whether it be for sports, business, academics or some other field: it’s a learning process! Performance coaching is a series of techniques aiming to bring about continuous improvement in an individual. It’s a feedback mechanism between two parties, a coach and a student, whereby the process of learning and development is fostered through detailed feedback. In business, performance coaching is often related to the 5 performance objectives.

That learning process can happen in two ways. Sometimes it’s an external process where the learning is specifically requested, and sometimes it happens organically in the course of our everyday lives.

Professional performance coaching. This is an external process whereby a hired coach works with a motivated learner to help them excel and identify intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. They will often start with performance profiling to highlight the areas to work on. Suppose you enlist the help of a coach for a professional scenario. In that case, they can help you understand what it takes to get from a middle-management position to a senior executive level, for example. They’ll guide you toward what skills and training that are required for you to land your dream job!

Everyday performance coaching. The second type of performance coaching happens in varying degrees nearly every day at the workplace. After all, we all coach – whether it be to ourselves or a teammate or colleague. It happens every time you offer up some constructive advice to someone that you share a relationship with (and vice-versa).

    Relationship Coaching

    • Is relationship coaching the same as “couples therapy”?
    • Can a relationship coach save my marriage?
    • How do I choose a relationship coach?
    • How much does relationship coaching cost?
    • What’s the difference between a relationship coach, marriage coach, dating coach, love coach, or family coach?

    Sales/Marketing Coaching

    • Sales coaches help sellers define goals and strategies that will tap into their purpose and lead to maximized sales energy, focus, and engagement.
    • Defining the right goals and strategies is crucial for seller success.
    • Sales coaches help sellers develop habits that will allow them to reach their goals, get the most from their time, and they help sellers maintain current, written, and public action plans.
    • Sales coaches also help sellers draw connections between actions and goals in focused action plans.
    • Sales coaches provide guidance—asking sellers exploratory questions and allowing them to find their own answers—but they also know when to offer direct advice about specific opportunities.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?” Actually who are you not to be? YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to manifest the glory that is within us. And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
