Stacey Ann Berry is an innovative entrepreneur, self-published author, and highly sought-after speaker. As a presenter, she inspires audiences to take a leap of faith, motivates them to make a difference, and helps them “ignite their inner essence.”

She is the President and Founder of Bstellar® Group Inc., a company specializing in professional development workshops, as well as consulting services in government relations, business development, community engagement, and strategic planning.

As a public policy professional, Stacey provides thought leadership on critical topics such as the digitization of essential services, the harm caused by bias in AI, surveillance technologies, and the importance of protecting human rights in the digital age. She developed a digital course titled AI Governance, Policy, and The Public Good for Udacity, offering a governance-focused framework on how AI can benefit society while respecting human values and promoting fairness. Additionally, she completed a program as an AI Policy Research Member with the Centre for AI and Digital Policy in Washington, DC.

A service-driven leader, Stacey is passionate about community development initiatives. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy, Administration, and Law (MPPAL), an Honours BA in History and Law and Society from York University, as well as a diploma in Court and Tribunal Administration and a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Seneca College.

 

Stacey’s contributions have earned her numerous accolades, including being named one of the 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Women and Canada’s 100 Black Women to Watch. She was also recognized as one of the 150 Neighbors and Community Builders by the University of Toronto Scarborough. Among her other honors are the Outstanding Contribution to Student Experience Award from York University and the G. Raymond Chang Outstanding Volunteer Award from Toronto Metropolitan University.
